Historic (1940's) 2 story 4000 sq ft, 5 BR (7 beds), 2.5 BA Panama House. Located in the former Naval Officers Quarters within WALKING or bike ride to Riverfront Park + a short drive to Park Circle shops & bars.
Minutes from highway, airport, and dwntwn. Centrally located to 3 beaches in the CHS area. Very private; giant oaks and plenty of space for a wonderful stay with friends and family.
The space
Hobson House is located in the historic district of North Charleston, where the Naval Officers were quartered. It is an up and coming revitalized neighborhood, surrounded by gorgeous old oak trees. Serene and private, it is a perfect gathering spot for a celebration with friends and family. The neighborhood is very quiet, and has 24 hour patrolled security. Please note the houses directly next to Hobson House are unoccupied. The Admiral's House, School House and other remodeled houses are approximately .10 mile away towards Riverfront Park.

Summary: The host was gracious. The house is older, cute and great for families. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry/mud room could do with some updating. The water got cold after a few people took showers and something wonky was going on with the televisions for our entire stay and we were unable to watch them. Thank goodness my nephew lived around the corner and brought his television with firestick for the kiddios. The location is at first glance questionable (several dilapidated homes) but once you take a five minute walk you are waterfront and it is beautiful. The location was safe and was pretty close to alot of things to do. A perfect place to stay if the weather is nice. We agreed that we would stay here again.
